Carbon Monoxide (CO)

Carbon monoxide (CO) is a flammable and dangerous gas which can cause health problems and death, even at low concentrations. It is therefore recommended to implement carbon monoxide (CO) monitoring to protect anyone who works with the gas. Our carbon monoxide (CO) detectors, monitors and OEM sensors provide peace of mind, no matter what your industry.

We are often asked if a carbon monoxide (CO) detector will measure carbon dioxide (CO₂) levels, and vice versa. Unfortunately the answer is no. Carbon dioxide (CO₂) detectors use infrared sensors to detect levels of gas in the atmosphere, whereas carbon monoxide (CO) detectors primarily use electrochemical sensors as well as gel sensors and metal oxide semiconductors.
